At present, the ports of Tangier-Med and Nador in Morocco are served by regular ferry services departing from Sète.

Tanger-Med :

2 rotations per week in high season, 1 every 4 days in low season.

Average crossing time 35h.

Nador :
4 rotations a week in high season and 1 every 8 days in low season.

Average crossing time 24h.

A practical guide for travellers departing from Sète

HEALTH MEASURES

To travel with peace of mind, check the list of compulsory documents to present to the authorities before boarding your flight to Morocco.
Otherwise you will not be allowed to board the ferry.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

All passengers are required to show proof of identity to gain access to the port and the ships.

Make sure you have all the necessary and valid travel documents before you leave:

Transport ticket
ID and/or passport
Authorization to leave the country for minors (when unaccompanied by their father and/or mother)
Disability card for disabled people
Vaccination certificate for pets

You arrive by train:

Sète Orsetti ferry terminal 17-minute walk from Gare SNCF (Place André Cambon) to Gare Maritime Orsetti (Place Mangeot)

PACKING

1. Parking

At the entrance to the port of Sète, the pre-boarding parking areas are directly accessible and free of charge when you present your reservation.
Our pre-boarding parking lot is accessible 4 hours before departure, and is equipped with sanitary facilities and a catering area.
Travelers may not be accompanied in this area.
Pedestrians can also drop off at Place Mangeot, right next to the Orsetti ferry terminal.

2. Confirmation of your ticket

Once your vehicle has been parked in the pre-boarding parking lot, reservations must be confirmed at your company’s counter at the Orsetti ferry terminal. You must go to the^{1st floor of}the station with your passport and vehicle registration document (only one person per vehicle is required).

People with reduced mobility can contact the company’s agents (present in the parking lot) to validate their reservation.

In high season, the Mohammed V Association is on hand to help you with all your needs.

3. Boarding

Upon confirmation of your booking, we will inform you of your boarding time. Please have your documents ready (passports and tickets) to facilitate checks by the authorities (Border Police & Customs). It’s important to prepare your trip well, and to find out about the rules for entering Morocco on the day of your departure.

LANDING

To prepare for your arrival in France via the port of Sète, you need to find out about the rules for entering France on the day of your arrival.

Pedestrians :

Port crews accompany pedestrian passengers on a free shuttle bus to the control authorities.

Vehicles :

The port teams are there to show you the way to the control authorities.
