The Sète marina offers an original port of call, ideally positioned between the Mediterranean Sea, the charm of the canals and the Etang de Thau.
The Etang de Thau is a saltwater lagoon home to a variety of animal species, including the famous speckled seahorse. The Sète marina is an authentic, family-friendly port of call, offering both nautical and tourist activities. Its direct access to towns on the shores of the Etang de Thau, such as Bouzigues, Mèze and Balaruc-les-Bains, make it a typical stopover.
As a gateway to the tourist sites of the Occitanie/Pyrénées-Méditerranée region, it’s a must for those looking for diversity and authenticity. Discover the traditions of this town, with its gastronomy, culture, fishing, heritage and festivities. In Sète, enjoy tastings of freshly caught fish and shellfish, unusual walks or timeless visits to the town’s museums.
Sète’s marina is unique in that it spans the entire city center. The berths on its 2 main waterways and all its quays and port facilities enable it to accommodate monohulls and multihulls of up to 50 meters. In all, more than 1,800 jobs are managed by the regional public establishment Port de Sète – Sud de France.
More than 470 berths for ships up to 18 meters long are available on the Môle Saint-Louis, a historic harbor 5 minutes’ walk from downtown Sète.
The waterways and quays beyond the drawbridges offer 345 berths for vessels up to 50 meters long.
Along the quays of the city center, the enclosed canals welcome ships of less than 8 meters, accentuating the city’s nickname of “Little Venice of the Mediterranean”.
The marina has also expanded its capacity for large yachts, with the addition of a dedicated yacht marina. The latter welcomes prestigious ships of up to 170 m in length, making Sète a world-class port.
The whole team at the Sète Marina will be delighted to welcome you and wish you an excellent stay with us.
